6D had a fantastic time on their Geography trip to Meanwood Valley Trail, where they had the opportunity to put their classroom learning into practice. The pupils used their OS map skills to navigate the trail, identifying key features and developing their understanding of maps and the local environment. They also used their Science skills to identify different types of leaves and explored the many elements of nature around them, from plants and trees to wildlife and habitats. It was wonderful to see the pupils working together, showing curiosity and enthusiasm as they investigated their surroundings. Class 6D represented the school brilliantly, demonstrating excellent behaviour throughout the trip and showing respect for each other, the environment and the staff who supported them. It was a fun, educational and memorable day for everyone involved!
