6D have been busy writing exciting information texts about different nature areas around Leeds. The children have been researching the wonderful features of these places, describing their beautiful landscapes, fascinating wildlife and peaceful surroundings. They have worked hard to bring their writing to life by using figurative language, including similes and personification, to help the reader imagine the sights and sounds of nature. They have also developed their setting descriptions, carefully choosing adjectives and vivid vocabulary to paint a picture in the reader’s mind. We are incredibly proud of how 6D have combined interesting facts with creative writing techniques to make their information texts both informative and engaging!
