This week, we began our exciting new Mayan history unit; completed and performed our suspense creative writing; began our area work on parallelograms and triangles, and continued to refine our reading comprehension answers. Students wrote fantastic responses to a question focusing on Shakespeare’s language choices in a Macbeth extract – zooming in on new key vocabulary. A special shout out this week has to go to Tom P for producing a lengthy and interesting hot write and gaining Learner of the Week. Special shout outs also for Benjamin for gaining Learner of the Week for helping our new student to feel so welcome!
