This week, a representative of Leeds Rhinos delivered a fantastic, interactive assembly on living a healthy lifestyle – tying nicely in with our PSHE and science foci this week. In science, we explored the circulatory system in more detail: learning about arteries and veins, carrying out a practical, whole-class demonstration and designing a circulatory system board game!

This week in Maths, we begun our unit on converting measures and explored the concepts of area and volume. In our early bird time, we had two opportunities for creative writing this week and wow! Each student transported us to a different time and genre from the same inspiration image!

We also had plently to celebrate this week. Special shout outs to our learners of the week (Harrison and Zidan), to Harleen for gaining a Bronze award in the Primary Maths Challenge and, finally, to Luca for winning the World Book Day competition!
